About:

Nyja is a Berlin-based fragrance project by Mateusz Wójcik, art director, graphic designer, and perfumer.

Working at the intersection of scent, visual art, and technology, it explores longing, stillness, decay, and human awkwardness. The feelings and atmospheres that resist clear representation.

Nyja comes from Polish mythology: a presence of the underworld, neither fixed nor fully knowable, moving through fading, rot, and disappearance. Guardian of souls. Patron of gentle endings.
